The first power unit of BelNPP was disconnected from the network by the automatic protection of the generator. About it informs Ministry of Energy of Belarus on Monday, July 12.
“On July 12 at 12:57 the first power unit of the BelNPP was disconnected from the network by automatic generator protection. The reasons for the shutdown of the electric generator are being established. After their elimination, the power unit will be put into operation,” it was reported.
According to the Ministry of Energy, “the radiation situation at the nuclear power plant and in the observation area did not change.” The power of the reactor plant was reduced according to the algorithm.
Recall that earlier in Iran announced the “emergency stop” of the nuclear power plant… The Busheher nuclear power plant “was shut down for three to four days.” A separate statement specifies that the station is “under repair.”
It was also reported that the old Mihama nuclear power plant was restarted in Japan… The station has already operated for 40 years, and now it has been re-launched – for the first time since 2011.
