Media Apparat, Habegger Austria and Lichtermacher used the corona crisis to create something new and – according to their own statements – “to position Austria as a technological pioneer in the field of film, television, advertising and event industry”. “With the Virtual Production Studio Vienna, Austria’s most modern film, broadcast & streaming studio opens in the Gösserhalle in Vienna,” said the three companies in a press release
The Virtual Production Studio Vienna is intended to revolutionize nothing less than moving picture productions in the film, television, advertising and event sectors. This should be made possible with a 270-degree film set made of high-resolution LED walls in conjunction with interactive real-time rendering software from the gaming sector, high-end hardware and camera tracking.
