Due to the rising number of corona infections among travelers returning and an increase in the country itself, Austria is again warning against traveling to Croatia. The travel warning comes into effect at midnight from Sunday to Monday, as the Foreign Ministry announced on Friday.

Infections in Croatia at record high
Croatia only reported a record number of new infections on Thursday: 180 people were infected within 24 hours. This was the highest daily value recorded in the country since the beginning of the pandemic. There was also Speculation that the authorities may have fudged infection numbers.
