Silver Olympic medalist Vondroušová benefited from her opponent’s mistakes in the first set. Although she has not yet maintained the 3: 1 lead, she has already delivered the set after another break. She has not spoiled Belarus so much since the second set and covered her Czech lefty with her wounds with loud shouts. The second set was decided by Vondroušová’s only loss of the second game and in the third she lost six games in a row from 0: 1.

Krejčíková also advances in doubles. Together with Kateřina Siniaková, they are tournament number ones and after the victory over the Australian-Chinese couple Monique Adamczaková, Chan Sin-jün twice 6: 3 are in the third round. Tournament tens Lucie Hradecká and Marie Bouzková said goodbye to the competition.
