Australian Cormann will be the new head of the OECD – economic policy from June 1st

Paris – Former Australian finance minister Mathias Cormann will take over the office of general secretary of the industrial organization OECD on Tuesday in Paris. Cormann, who comes from the German-speaking east of Belgium, succeeds the Mexican Angel Gurría at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), who has been at the top since 2006.
