Audo Vicente is willing to accept the management of the Tigres del Licey for the next winter baseball tournament.
“In the next few hours, this Thursday, Friday or Saturday, I have a job interview with their managers for such purposes, and although the decision is theirs, I have the willingness to assume the position,” said Audo, in an interview with Listín Diario and its sports editor Héctor J. Cruz.
Audo was champion with Licey in the 2016-17 tournament, but did not return for the next tournament. However, in recent years he has remained as an advisor in the baseball operations group alongside the resigning Junior Noboa.
“I have not worked this tournament in which Licey was eliminated, because my Seattle Mariners organization did not want to due to Covid-19, but here I am, ready to help the club,” Vicente said during the interview.
Junior Noboa recently announced that he was resigning from the position, and the president of the Licey has said that they are interviewing a group of candidates, although he has never cited the names.
