The dimensions of the Audi Q5 restyling change by 19 millimeters in length, reaching 4.68 meters. The width (without mirrors) of 1.89 meters, the height of 1.66 meters and step of 2.82 m remain unchanged. The rear plus seats with longitude adjustment and adaptation of the backrest angle are available on request. By opting for this equipment, the luggage compartment offers a capacity between 550 and 1,550 liters. The electric tailgate is standard. Thanks to the refined mix of materials, the bodywork is the lightest in the segment, while the aerodynamic drag coefficient (CX) is only 0.30.
New Audi Q5, rear lights with OLED technology
Audi Q5 brings the new generation of Oled technology, derived from the flagship Audi A8, to its category debut. OLEDs are particularly efficient organic light emitting diodes that generate very wide and homogeneous illumination. The Oled rear lights, on request, are divided into three nuclei, each of which is made up of six segments so as to create multiple luminous signatures and characteristic illuminations.
You can choose between three different light patterns of the rear lights. Specific Coming home and Leaving home animations are dedicated to each of these. By selecting the dynamic option of the Audi drive select driving dynamics management system, an additional characteristic lighting mode is activated.
The Oled rear light clusters guarantee an innovative proximity signaling: when the car is stationary, if a road user approaches less than two meters from the car, all segments light up. As soon as the car starts moving again, the original characteristic lighting is restored. The range of functions of the Oled tail lights is completed by dynamic direction indicators.
