Officials of the Suhl operational support checked a 33-year-old Audi driver in the Neuer Weg in Herpf on Thursday evening.
A breath alcohol test carried out voluntarily showed a value of 0.96 per thousand and the test carried out a little later in the office confirmed the first measurement.
The man received an administrative offense report and had to leave his car behind.
