How were the threats against Francisco Vera?
In January, Francisco Vera, who has stood out at the national level for his various contributions to the environment, denounced through his social networks that he received different threats after sharing a video in which he called on President Iván Duque to guarantee the connectivity of students in the most remote areas of the country.
This was what Vera stated in her video: “The National Government has decided to return to virtual education, virtuality in schools in different territories of the country, I think it is a sensible decision, taking into account the situation that Colombia is experiencing. and the world with this covid-19 pandemic. It is important to demand that the National Government take it to the rural territories of the country, even to the countryside, to Bogotá itself where in the twenty-first century, in the capital of the country, children still do not have access to virtual education and the internet. “
As a result, he was intimidated by a Twitter user who said: “I have a desire to hear you scream as I cut off your fingers to see if you will continue to talk about environmentalism and dignity.”
From this, the minor indicated: “This country is a sadness. I make a public complaint. A few minutes ago I received this threat on my Twitter account. Defending life is a right.”
Francisco Vera faced saboteurs

On this occasion, it was by a series of netizens who joined one of his videos to “sabotage” a transmission that the child under 11 was carrying out, a behavior that was reproached by the other users of the platform where the renowned environmentalist child exposed their arguments.
In the middle of his transmission on environmental pedagogy, a group of 20 people, according to Vera, all adults, initiated a series of comments and insults against the renowned environmentalist child, which echoed among the more than a thousand people who were observing the video.
