In downtown Bottrop, an employee of the vaccination center was attacked and insulted on Monday evening. This has been confirmed to us by the head of the vaccination center, Michael Althammer.

The 24-year-old from Bottrope arrived home from work around 6 p.m. and was still wearing her uniform, according to Althammer. A small group of demonstrators who had gathered to protest against the Corona measures then attacked the woman. The employee was insulted with the words “vaccine racist” and “vaccine slave”. In addition, the demonstrators spat on the ground in front of her.
Althammer has confirmed to us that they want to report to the police by tomorrow. It was the first time that an employee of the Bottrop vaccination center had been attacked. The responsible police in Recklinghausen told us on request that they would now contact the woman.
