Created in 1976, theAtlanta Film Festival is held every spring and it is one of the few film festivals that can qualify for Academy Awards®. It has taken place in various theaters over the years: the Landmark Midtown Art Cinema, The Plaza and the 7 Stages Theater in Little Five Points.
