The candidate for prime minister will not be Kiril Petkov. “We continue the change” have a new candidate for prime minister. The news was announced to BTV by the co-chairman of “Democratic Bulgaria” Atanas Atanasov.
“Let’s not play with names here there is here, there is no here. The new prime minister will be announced by the mandate holder. The chances of a new government are increasing”, specified Atanasov.
He explained that in this decision PP takes public relations seriously. It is their right to communicate their decision and I cannot announce who will be the new Prime Minister. We expect to receive an invitation from the PP to enter into negotiations in the construction and composition of a government, Atanasov announced.
He also expects the BSP to return to the negotiating table for the formation of a new cabinett in order to continue the policy of the majority with the promise to fight the corruption schemes of Bulgaria. According to him, efforts should be made to form a government in the current parliament based on a Euro-Atlantic majority.
If the candidate for prime minister is someone else, he should try to convince the deputies from ITN to support him and not their leader, insisted Atanasov.
For the expulsion of 70s Russian diplomatsAtanasov stated that Bulgaria cannot withdraw any notes and what is done – “is over”.
According to him, there is no need to have any reports of DANS. Domestic and foreign policy is carried out by the Council of Ministers, Atanasov pointed out and added that two lists were presented by the DANS to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“At the time, when I prepared a report to expel three Russian diplomats from Bulgaria and sent it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I did not send it to all institutions,” commented Atanasov.
He pointed out that the head of state represents Bulgaria in international relations. I have a feeling, but I don’t know what the reasons are, but the president cannot hide his dislike for the prime ministerpointed out Atanas Atanasov.
According to him, the government is hostile and inconvenient for the entire Russian agent network in Bulgaria. Atanasov believes that the current political destabilization has a serious involvement of the Russian agency in Bulgaria.
