Vaccination campaign gets boost from 1.5 to 2 weeks: all over-65s vaccinated with first dose by the end of April
10th of MarchFlanders will be able to speed up its vaccination by 1.5 to 2 weeks, after the decision to extend the period between the two Pfizer vaccines to five weeks. The cabinet of Flemish Minister of Welfare Wouter Beke (CD&V) confirms this to our editorial staff. In concrete terms, all over-65s will have received at least a first vaccination by the end of April. “That is two weeks faster than planned,” says Beke.
