‘At previous proof of the theft of Tutankhamun’s treasures’ | Overseas

Carter uncovered Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922 and has since been suspected by the Egyptians of thieving components of the pharaoh’s treasure ahead of the tomb was formally opened. Having said that, proof for these allegations was not available.
