A number of Oslo schools have installed cameras after the city council opened for use in 2017. The goal is to protect students and staff against violence and the school against vandalism.
In recent years, cameras have primarily been installed in schools that have repeated challenges with vandalism, arson or the like. It should be among the latest measures the schools choose, according to the Education Agency.
