Tornadoes swept through the US state overnight from Monday to Tuesday.
Images of devastation. The American state of Tennesse (United States) was hit by violent tornadoes on the night of Monday March 2 to Tuesday March 3. The state capital, Nashville, was particularly affected. The latest official assessment of Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (Tema), Tuesday mid-day (early evening in France) counts at least 22 dead. This assessment is still only provisional and is likely to increase. “Nashville is suffering, and our community has been devastated”, Tweeted Mayor John Cooper.
Nashville is hurting, and our community has been devastated. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones. Be sure to lend a helping hand to a neighbor in need, and let’s come together as a community once more. Together, we will get through this and come out stronger.
