Babůrková has been active in the sphere of municipal politics in recent years, she is currently the mayor of Jevan, she does not appear in society very often. At the launch of Lenka Stránské’s book My first act and a peed schoolgirl, which summarizes the life of art photographer Petr Berounský, she could not be absent. It copies a significant part of her life.

“Peter Berounský and I have known each other since 1988. It was he who actually started my career as a model and brought me to Miss,” she spoke for Blesk. “He and his wife Danka created a background for me, which in 1992 was really not the norm. In the book, she devotes an entire chapter to our collaboration, but that is not the only reason why I was happy to take on her baptism. Petr is a fair person and a professional, and his really colorful and sometimes stormy life is definitely worth recording.” she bowed to him.
