Great grief in Hollywood. Patti Palmer celebrated great success as a singer in the 1940s. However, she is best known to a wider audience as the ex-wife of American comedian Jerry Lewis, who died in 2017. The two had been married for almost 36 years when they divorced in 1980. However, shocking news has now been made public: Patti died at the age of 99.
Her son Gary has now confirmed this to Gary Fox News. He said his mother passed away in Las Vegas on January 15th. However, he did not disclose the cause of death. The celebrity offspring said, however, that Patti was never sick and had “been humming all the time” in her nursing home. “She lived 99 years and had a full life and is now in heaven singing with the angels”, it says further in the declaration of Pattis Son.
“She has always been a wonderful soul”stresses Gary. He recalls that when he was a child, his mother used to sing and play the piano in her home. “I know that I got my love for music from her,” he says.
