Asus ZenBook 13 and 14 with Ice Lake i7 cpu and 16GB lpddr4x cost 1299 euros – Computer – News

Asus releases new versions of its thin ZenBook 13 and 14. The UX325 and UX425 are 13.9mm thick, get a Core i7-1065G7 processor and 16GB lpddr4x memory. The laptops have two Thunderbolt 3 connections, among other things.

According to Asus, the ZenBook 13 UX325 in ZenBook UX425 about 1.1kg. The small model gets a screen with a maximum brightness of 450cd / m² and the larger version is more than 400cd / m². In the Netherlands and Belgium, Asus delivers one configuration of both models, with an Ice Lake generation Core i7 CPU, 16GB lpddr4x memory, a 1TB-pci-e-ssd and a 67Wh battery. The housing contains a webcam with an infrared camera for Windows Hello support.

The laptops are the successors of the ZenBook 13 UX333 in ZenBook 14 UX433 from last year. Those models were slightly thicker and still equipped with 14nm Whiskey Lake processors. The new models get 10nm processors with a better Iris Plus GPU. Asus claims that the laptops have a sturdy case that survives a fall from a desk.

The housing has an HDMI connection, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support and a USB 3.0 port with USB-a connector. The laptops also have a micro-SD card reader. ZenBook 13 and 14 also have a NumberPad. That is an Asus function in which the touchpad can be used as a numerical part via an overlay. The ZenBook 13 UX325 and ZenBook UX425 will soon be released in the Netherlands and Belgium. The manufacturer does not specify an exact date.
