ASUS has updated two of its ZenBooks with Intel Tiger Lake processors. The manufacturer has announced this. The laptops have the same appearance and functions as the previous version.
The previous ZenBooks came out in August with Ice Lake processors, while Tiger Lake was already on the cusp of release back then. So now there is a version with Tiger Lakeprocessor, namely the i7-1165G7. For the rest, it concerns the same laptops in the same configuration. ASUS does charge 50 euros more for the version with a newer processor.
The housing also has an HDMI connection, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support and a USB 3.0 port with USB-A connector. The laptops also have a microSD card reader. ZenBook 13 and 14 also have a NumberPad. That is an ASUS function where the touchpad can be used as a numeric part via an overlay.
The small model gets a screen with a maximum brightness of 450cd / m² and the larger version is 400cd / m². In the Netherlands and Belgium, ASUS supplies one configuration of both models, with a Core i7 CPU of the Ice Lake generation, 16GB Lpddr4x memory, a 1TB pci-e SSD and a 67Wh battery. The housing contains a webcam with infrared camera for Windows Hello support.
