Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is Ubisoft’s biggest premiere, however, the production hit the market with unexpected problems. The game did not achieve the expected results on the new Xboxes (by late-delivered devkits?) and another the game states proved to be a problem, whether shifting production to a new generation.

In response to any inconvenience, Ubisoft developers rolled up their sleeves and react quickly. The update will be released today at 13:00 for consoles and computers – depending on the platform, we will download from 2.5GB (PS5) to 5.3GB (XSX | S) of data.

The creators will allow you to choose the game mode: in the “Performance” option we will get an adjusted resolution at the target 60 frames per second, while choosing the “Quality” mode we will see the “maximum resolution” at 30 fps on the screen. For Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, “Performance” will be enabled by default, and “Quality” will be enabled on Xbox Series S.

Ubisoft also took care of fixing bugs, getting rid of the observed inconveniences appearing in the game world (when the character is blocking in certain places), the reactions and behavior of NCPs and bosses, balance have been improved, but most importantly, an improvement in performance has been announced. On the Xbox Series X | S we are to experience a much better quality of the game (without the image tearing effect).

Players can also count on fixing problems with the game state – after the update, all saves will be visible, and those saved in the cloud will receive an appropriate, characteristic name. The creators have also prepared a message about incorrect writing in the cloud.
