Assassin’s Creed Mirage: A Return to the Roots of the Series | Developer Diary Highlights Parkour and Stealth

Ubisoft published the first developer diary from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage. In a video aptly titled A Return to the Roots members of the Ubisoft Bordeaux studio they approximate what we should imagine under the proclaimed return to the roots of the series since the announcement. Developers in their own words they want to convey the feeling of the first episodes series in modern form to the present time.

As Basim, players will therefore return to the Middle East (specifically Baghdad) approximately 300 years before Altair’s story. As part of the gameplay, the authors focused mainly on parkour and stealth. The way of moving around the city in Mirage is primarily based on the trilogy with Ezio. From the point of view of stealth mechanics, players can look forward to, for example the ability to use and control the crowdin which the main protagonist can hide and sneak to the desired location.

In the course of completing individual missions, finding out information and tracking a specific person, whom you will then try to kill unnoticed, will play an important role. At the very end of the video attached above, the developers in brief they introduced the nostalgia filter, after turning on which the game will acquire a color palette inspired by the first part. More information about the materials will most likely be served to us by Ubisoft at the Ubisoft Forward event, which will take place on June 12 from 19:00.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is released on October 12 na PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One a Xbox Series X/S.
