Tuesday, during the second day of hearing, several former colleagues of Pascal Filoé testified at the bar during the trial before the Aveyron Assize Court of Alexandre Dainotti, for assassination.
Two and a half years after the events, the pain is still present in the City of Rodez. The trial of Alexandre Dainotti, who responds to the assizes, for the assassination of Pascal Filoé, head of department at the town hall of Rodez and boss of the municipal police, is an opportunity to hear some former colleagues, witnesses of the scene.
The first, the partner of Pascal Filoé, was with him at the time of the facts. “That morning I was going with him to a meeting at the metropolitan community, she recalls. We took a few steps until I noticed that someone had jumped on Pascal’s back. I saw them fight. I wanted to separate them and saw that my hands were full of blood. ” Shocked, she then sat down, and was then brought back by a colleague to the town hall.
“He was always listening”
A second municipal worker saw, from his office window, “the last two stab wounds”. Very moved, he told the court that he saw a trail of blood and continued to the crime scene. A third colleague of Pascal Filoé testified. Before the facts, he followed the file of the seizure of the accused’s dog. It was also he who fled the accused and arrested him, accompanied by a national police officer, in the business where he had taken refuge.
Of his former boss, Pascal Filoé, says: “Mr. Filoé, for me, as a performer, was someone with whom we could discuss. He was always attentive.” And to conclude: “Everyone is very upset. I think unfortunately that will follow us to the end of our days.”
The trial continues until Friday.
