On November 29, at 7 pm, a live Advent concert for young people “Op. 2 ”. Singer Asnate Rancāne and double bassist Stanislavs Judins will perform at the concert, the organizers informed.
The live broadcast of the concert will be shown in the Small Guild Homepage a “Facebook”.
On the first Advent, the Small Guild continues the tradition of several years, offering a peaceful concert to a young audience, this time live. The artist duo – Stanislavs Judins and Asnate Rancāne represent and perform in the concert ethno minimalist music – songs with authentic folk song lines and ethnic motifs – innovative, unusual and timbre rich.
Stanislav Judin is best known as a double bass player in jazz and improvisational music, who has participated in music projects of various genres and affiliations. His original music compositions will also be performed at the Advent concert.
Asnate Rancāne is known as a researcher of ethnic music, multi-instrumentalist and leader of the folk music group “Tautumeitas”.
The two artists have been making music together for several years. During joint experiments, the two musicians have found their sound and style, resulting in the album “Op. 2 ”.
Concert “Op. 2 ”is organized by RKTMC“ Small Guild ”with the support of the Education, Culture and Sports Department of the Riga City Council.
