“AS Roma Locks Down Ahead of Europa League Final Against Sevilla: Preparations Under Mourinho”

AS Roma ready to live Europa League final the middle of this week. Jose Mourinho has now implemented a lockdown as part of his team’s preparations.

AS Roma will face Sevilla in the Europa League final at the Puskas Arena, Budapest, Thursday (1/6/2023) early morning WIB. The Giallorossi have the opportunity to win two European competitions in a row after winning the UEFA Conference League last season.

For Rome, this final also provides an important opportunity besides winning a trophy. That is the Champions League ticket, which has been separated from the Serie A path.

As part of Roma’s preparations, Mourinho is reported Sports Courier has imposed a lockdown in the last training sessions at Trigoria. He allegedly wanted to reduce the risk of information leakage.

Only technical and medical staff may be present in the field, while other employees must stay away. Mourinho did something similar ahead of last year’s UEFA Conference League final.

Mourinho himself so far still has a 100% record in European finals. He won two Champions League titles, two UEFA Cup/Europa League titles, and a UEFA Conference League trophy in the five finals he faced.

Will that trend continue against Sevilla, who are the Europa League kings?
