Harald Melwisch joins Artefact: The former Unilever manager is now on board as a senior advisor at the agency for data consulting and digital marketing. His primary task there is to expand business and deepen customer understanding.

The digital expert worked in the management of Unilever for almost 30 years, including in global functions. Most recently, before leaving in September 2019, he was General Manager responsible for the Group’s Austrian business. As Chief Digital Officer, he was also responsible for the digital transformation in the DACH market.

More industry understanding

“We are extremely proud that we were able to win Harald as a mentor for our company”, says Hannes Weissensteiner, Managing Director of Artefact. “In addition to deep knowledge in the areas of data, marketing and technology, an understanding of industry and an understanding of organizational challenges are essential in order to be able to successfully implement data projects – here we have someone in Harald who will help us to develop an even deeper understanding of our customers . “

Melwisch’s commitment is probably just the beginning of the expansion at Artefact: Weissensteiner has announced the addition of “more well-known personalities” in the coming months.
