The newly created “(H) ARTE” Foundation tries to transfer art to unusual spaces, such as hospitals, health centers and nursing homes. Tamara Kreisler, gallery owner and one of the foundation’s promoters, has explained in RNE’s mornings with Íñigo Alfonso that, although “hospitals have changed a lot in recent years”, they can be cold and inhospitable, and therefore, works of art can accompany and distract, and ultimately humanize these spaces. Even, Kreisler explained, the therapeutic power of art and how it can influence faster healing of patients. The first exhibition, a sample by the creator Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, will be on view from February 22 at the Vithas de Aravaca hospital.
