Arsenal vs Crystal Palace ends in a 2-2 draw

There is no winner in a duel between two English Premier League mid-table teams, Arsenal vs Crystal Palace. The match ended with a strong 2-2.

Arsenal opened the scoring in the eighth minute through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Cannon London’s 1-0 advantage lasted until halftime.

GOAL! Arsenal opened the scoring when the game had only been running for eight minutes. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang listed his name on the scoreboard.

Starting from Nicolas Pepe’s shot which was pushed over by Vicente Guaita, the ball vomited towards Aubameyang who immediately kicked it into the Palace goal. Arsenal lead 1-0.

Palace appear attacking to catch up. Christian Benteke’s ball in the 28th minute can still be caught by Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

A golden opportunity was obtained by the visitors seven minutes later. Tyrick Mitchell sent a pass to Odsonne Edouard in the penalty area, before kicking the ball that missed the target.

Disputes between players had occurred in the 42nd minute. Some Arsenal players did not accept the action of James McArthur who kicked Bukayo Saka’s calf. The referee gave a yellow card to McArthur.

There were no additional goals until halftime. The first half closed with Arsenal’s 1-0 advantage over Palace.

1-1! Palace equalized five minutes into the second half. Christian Benteke who managed to break into Arsenal’s goal.

This goal came from Jordan Ayew who took the ball from Thomas Partey and sent it to Benteke. The Belgian striker without difficulty beat Aaron Ramsdale through a hard kick ball in the penalty box.

Palace almost doubled their lead in the 56th minute. Ayew’s shot on target near the penalty area line was blocked by Ramsdale.

Arsenal threatened again in the 71st minute. Alexandre Lacazette releases a kick that can be parried by Guaita.

2-1! Disaster struck Arsenal two minutes later. Palace counter-attack ended with Odsonne Edouard’s kick which went into the home team’s goal.

Arsenal almost equalized four minutes before normal time ran out. Kieran Tierney shot the ball on the left side of the penalty box which hit the Palace crossbar.

2-2! Arsenal equalized in the final minutes of injury time. Lacazette became the hero of the Gunners with his goal, capitalizing on the chaos in front of Palace’s goal. The score 2-2 is the final result of the match.
