Arrested in Pacitan, Activator of the Attack on the Midodareni Event in Solo Threatened 9 Years in Prison

SOLO, KOMPAS.com – Suspect case driver beatings and destruction of customary events midodareni or prayer ahead of the wedding at Solo, Central Java, S was arrested in Pacitan, East Java on Sunday (17/8/2020).

S was charged under Article 160 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 170 concerning incitement to commit criminal acts, violence against people and property with the threat of nine years in prison.

“Since August 9, 2020, we have secured 10 people and six of them have been named suspects through case procedures,” he explained.

Ade said the police would continue to chase and chase other perpetrators who had not surrendered.

In fact, Ade emphasized that the police would not give the slightest room for intolerance, thuggery and radicalism groups in Solo.

“Wherever, until whenever we will enforce the law as upright as possible to provide a sense of justice, security, comfort for the people in their activities,” he said.
