JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Kabareskrim National Police, Komjen Listyo Sigit Prabowo, deemed fit to be the Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia or Police chief to replace Idham Azis | who will retire.
This was stated by the Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society or MAKI, Boyamin Saiman.
“I say he (Kabareskrim) is worth becoming Police chief, “Said Boyamin Saiman in an interview with Kompas TV on Thursday (7/30/2020) night.

Boyamin explained that the Djoko Tjandra escape case involving officials in the Criminal Investigation was said to have hit Kabareskrim because of competition for the position of National Police Chief.
Because of this case, Listyo Sigit was deemed unfit for the position of National Police Chief because he was considered to have failed to anticipate his subordinates who were playing to help fugitives.
However, in fact it was answered with his courage to set his men in the Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Prasetijo Utomo as a suspect for his involvement in assisting Djoko Tjandra’s escape.
