The University of Michigan women’s golf team concluded the first round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate tied for ninth place among a competitive field. Competition took place September 6-8, 2024, at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.The Wolverines, alongside Arizona, finished the day wiht a team score of 593 (+17). The tournament, known for attracting top programs nationwide, serves as an early-season test for Michigan as they prepare for a challenging fall schedule. The second and third rounds will determine if the team can improve their standing and contend for the championship title.
North Carolina and Kentucky share the lead at 579 (+7), followed by Kansas at 581 (+9). Navy is sixth with a score of 585 (+11), while Florida State sits in seventh at 587 (+13). Michigan State is tied for eighth with a score of 589 (+15). Findlay is 11th (+17) and Delaware State is 12th (+50).
