Chairman of the House of Representatives Khadija Arib has given Henk Krol (ex-VVD, ex-50Plus, ex-Groep Krol / van Kooten-Arissen, ex-PvdT) firmly against it, after he claimed that ” goes. Krol wrote on Twitter with a video clip of himself:

Thursday evening, Arib reacted fiercely. She pointed out to Krol that it is not a month and a half holiday, but a tradition that goes back more than a hundred years and coincides with school holidays, in which the MPs have extra time to prepare for the election campaigns, among other things. She also made it clear that contrary to what Krol suggests, the MPs do not have a holiday at all, but simply stay at work and continue to have debates.

The second part of Henk Krol’s tweet is also incorrect. There is on no way whatsoever of forced admission of people suspected of corona A number of beds have been reserved, including in a TB clinic in Haren, where people who are actually infected can be forcibly admitted in extreme cases. This concerns people who cannot or do not want to be quarantined, but who are at great risk of spreading. The same thing now sometimes happens with homeless tuberculosis patients. No corona patient has ever been forcibly admitted in the Netherlands.
