Argentina’s crazy plan for Messi could send PSG on a rampage

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Lionel Messi is an important player in any team he plays for, including argentina national team and Paris Saint Germain so that La Pulga became the ‘grab’ of the two forts.

Messi again missed PSG’s last match because he is still not 100 percent fit, but the 34-year-old is already in the middle of the Argentina national team squad that will undergo duels against Uruguay and Brazil in the World Cup qualifiers.

When the condition of the owner of 80 goals for La Albiceleste was overshadowed by hamstring and knee injuries, coach Lionel Scaloni had a pretty horrendous plan.

Scaloni, who led Argentina to the Copa America title after a 28-year fast, plans to play Messi in a duel against Uruguay which will take place on Friday (12/11).

Quoted from Marca, Scaloni will not play Messi in full when Argentina face Uruguay. Messi is only targeted to play 90 minutes when Team Tango meets Brazil on Tuesday (16/11).

Previously, PSG sporting director Leonardo was furious after learning that Messi was called up to the Argentine national team during this week’s international break.

When PSG did not play Messi so that the condition of the superstar recovered 100 percent, Messi’s summons to the Argentine national team made Leonardo annoyed.

“We do not agree to let players go with the national team, which for us is not in good physical condition or is in the recovery phase,” Leonardo said.

If Scaloni plays Messi in the matches against Uruguay and Brazil, it is not impossible for PSG to be inflamed again.

Since joining from Barcelona in August 2021, Messi has only played eight times for PSG, with five in the French League and three in the Champions League.

Messi has missed at least seven games for PSG this season due to various health factors.
