Argentina … more than 6 thousand new cases of corona within 24 hours

The number of people infected with the new Corona virus (Covid-19) in Argentina has exceeded the barrier of 305,000, after more than 6 thousand cases were recorded within 24 hours.

This came according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health in the country, on Tuesday evening, indicating that the number of injuries reached 305,966 cases, after 6,840 injuries were recorded within 24 hours.

The statement indicated that 235 new deaths were recorded from infection with the virus during the past 24 hours, raising the total to 6,048 cases.

Since March 20, Argentina has implemented social isolation that allows citizens to leave the house in order to meet basic needs only, during the time they are allowed to leave by virtue of the nature of their work.

On the other hand, HIV infections in Chile rose to 388,885, after 1566 new cases were recorded during the past 24 hours, while deaths rose to 10 thousand and 178 after 33 deaths were recorded.

The country’s Ministry of Health indicated, during a statement issued by it, that the number of people recovered has reached 362 thousand, 440 recovered, and that there are 1157 cases still being treated in hospitals, of which 184 are critical.

The statement also indicated that two million and 64 thousand tests have been conducted for the virus since its spread in the country.

Corona infected, as of Wednesday dawn, more than 22 million and 306 thousand people in the world, of whom more than 784 thousand died, and more than 15 million and 47 thousand recovered, according to the “worldmeter” website, which specializes in counting virus victims.
