Aragon reports 169 new covid infections, 3 less, and one deceased

Public Health has notified 169 new infections of covid-19 detected this Thursday in Aragon, 3 less than the previous day, and 1 died in the province of Zaragoza.

According to provisional data published this Friday on the Transparency Portal by the Government of Aragon, 128 of the new cases correspond to the province of Zaragoza, 30 to that of Huesca and 9 to that of Teruel.

By basic health areas, Binéfar is the one that has reported the most cases with 10, followed by Miralbueno-Garrapinillos with 7 and Épila with 6, also those of Utrillas and Valderrobres with 4 and 3 respectively stand out in Teruel, representing 7 of the 9 notified .

Since the start of the pandemic, people who have contracted the coronavirus in Aragon amount to 108,487 and to 100,706 those who have overcome it, of which 404 were discharged yesterday.

The number of people killed by covid-19 amounts to 3,343, 12 more than those that appeared this Thursday on the portal, 5 notified in the last 24 hours.

According to data from the Epidemiological Bulletin published this Thursday, in the last week 57 deaths from coronavirus have been registered in Aragon, seven more than the previous one.

The number of people who have died with coronavirus in Aragon since registration began a year ago now rises to 3,343, with a median age of 86 years.

Since the start of the surveillance of covid-19 cases in Aragon and until last March 3, 108,321 confirmed cases of this disease have been registered, 1,126 of them in the last week.

By provinces, 72.7% of the cases reside in Zaragoza, 15.1% in Huesca and 12.2% in Teruel. 47.5% are men, with a fatality rate of 3.4%, compared to 2.8% in women. The median age of the positives is 45 years
