Arab Coalition Attack Reportedly Kills Houthi Leader

SANAA Air raid Arab coalition against a number of targets north of the Capital Yaman , Sanaa, has killed the leader Houthi Mayor Jenderal Abdullah Qassem al-Junaid.

This is the report of the television channel, Al Hadath as reported by Al Arabiya, Tuesday (18/1/2022).

Arab coalition bombards Yemen after the Houthis launched attacks on two targets in the capital United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abu Dhabi, on Monday morning. The attack killed three people and injured six.

A spokesman for the Arab Coalition said in a statement that the attack was launched in response to threats and military needs.

A construction site at the extension of Abu Dhabi’s new airport, and an oil facility caught fire on Monday morning. Police said the incident may have been caused by a drone.

UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed later described the incident as a terrorist attack and a malicious criminal escalation. He added that they would not be left alone.

The fires are an example of a rare attack on UAE soil.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack in a statement released on Monday.
