APWU Health Plan ⁣Announces Corrected ⁣Rates for Open Season 2025

APWU Health Plan ⁤Director Sarah Jane Rodriguez recently‍ addressed members regarding premium rates for the ‍2025 Open Season. In a message released today, rodriguez clarified information for ⁢the Consumer Driven option, specifically for career⁣ APWU bargaining unit members enrolled in the Postal Service Health ‌Benefits (PSHB) program for over one year.

“We want too thank you for considering the APWU Health Plan and‌ for those‌ already enrolled, thank you‍ for being ⁣a part of our plan,” Rodriguez stated.

The APWU National Agreement provides a higher postal service premium contribution when members ⁤choose the Consumer Driven plan. The Health Plan discovered inaccuracies in previously published rates for this option and is proactively communicating the correct figures to ensure‌ clarity during the Open Season selection process.

The corrected biweekly premiums ‍for 2026 are as follows:‌ $30.16 for self-only coverage, $70.60 for self plus one, and $82.48 for self and family coverage.

“The APWU Consumer Driven Plan has the lowest ⁢premiums in the PSHB⁣ for⁤ career⁤ APWU bargaining unit members,⁤ and offers a rich array of benefits,” Rodriguez emphasized.

Members seeking more detailed information about the Consumer ⁣driven Plan are⁢ encouraged to visit www.apwuhp.com, contact the Maryland-based customer service department at 1-800-742-2798, or email openseason@apwuhp.com. The APWU Health Plan ‍thanks its members for their continued support.
