SOUTH HESSEN – (red). Environmental and nature conservation projects are sought for this year’s “Echo helps!” campaign. The first applications have already been received, others can be submitted until July 31st. Clubs from Darmstadt and the districts of Darmstadt-Dieburg, Bergstraße, Odenwald and Groß-Gerau have been invited.

Nature in southern Hesse has a lot to offer. And that despite the fact that people have sometimes lost sight of the protection and preservation of this important sphere of life in recent years.

This newspaper would like to put environmental protection and nature conservation in the focus of society and collect money for charitable projects related to this topic with the upcoming fundraising campaign as part of “Echo helps!”. With this year’s campaign, which will again run from November to January, readers and sponsors can support the hard-working associations in the region that are committed to environmental protection and nature conservation. Associations that often do something good for the flora and fauna of the region as small groups with a lot of individual commitment.

As in every year, clubs can apply again this time. “Echo helps!” chooses a project for each southern Hessian region, for which the donations are then collected. We will report on “Echo helps!” in all southern Hessian editions – after the merger of “Main-Spitze” and “Rüsselsheimer Echo” under the umbrella of the VRM this year for the first time also in these two editions.
