Apple Updates iOS 15.2 Beta 3, There’s Macro Mode to Apple Arcade

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Apple launched beta version 3 for iOS 15.2 which brings a number of new features such as macro mode updates for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, and Apple Arcade.

These new features can be enjoyed by beta testers and a number of registered developers.

Macro mode is a special feature on the camera that is owned by the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The release of iOS 15.2 beta 3 added a new macro control in the app settings section. Enabling this control makes the camera automatically switch to the ultra wide camera to capture macro images and videos.

Previously on iOS 15.1 which was released last month, Apple added an Auto Macro feature in the settings section. And in iOS 15.2 beta 2 last week, Apple added a macro mode icon in the camera app.

Then on iOS 15.2 beta 3, Apple also highlighted the games included in Apple Arcade. When searching for a game, users can now see the Apple Arcade logo next to the game.

Taken from 9to5mac, this move is referred to as one way to promote games available through Apple Arcade.

In addition, in this latest operating system, Apple provides users with the function to rename and delete tags in the Reminders application in large quantities. Apple describes it as “tags can now be renamed and deleted in bulk.”

Then on this operating system, Apple also released a search feature to find songs in playlists in the Apple Music application.

In terms of privacy security, Apple renamed the iCloud Private Relay feature in the Cellular and WiFi settings to “Limit IP Address Tracking” to clarify what happens when this feature is enabled.

However, the function performed by this feature remains the same. Turning off this feature will turn off iCloud Private Relay for both cellular and WiFi networks Macrumors.

In addition, there are several bugs that appear in this beta 3 version, among them is that streaming music makes CPU usage increase and greatly affects power consumption. Then users who import vaccination records cannot add them to the Wallet app, and may cause the Health app to freeze or crash.
