My launch date AirPods Pro suffered from it. Lower ANC, cracking noise. At one point it became very annoying and I had chatted with Apple support (before this program was launched). Both were replaced, but a good 200 euros was first reserved on my CC, just in case something turned out to be different. as a deposit is a better / correct name
Ultimately replaced free of charge (must also almost given the fact that I was still in the warranty period). Everything was done via UPS and it went pretty smoothly.
The AirPods Pro sound normal again, although the ANC remains less than during the launch.
