Apple Releases iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 on September 20

iOS 15 will bring various improvements including Facetime.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KALIFORNIA — Apple will release iOS 15 and iPad 15 on September 20. The company announced a new free operating system update at WWDC 2021 early June and is offering a public beta during the summer.

Both the new versions of iOS and iPadOS offer a wide range of features. Its main title includes changes to notifications such as adding a notification summary, Focus mode to list different apps and notifications that are allowed to reach users at different times of the day.

Additionally, there are improvements to FaceTime that include the ability to invite Android and Windows users for a first call and a new look for Safari.

Reported from The Verge, Wednesday (15/9), on the iPad and iPadOS 15 finally brings iOS 14 features such as a library of applications and widgets that can be resized. Some features for iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 will take longer to arrive. Apple says SharePlay, the ability to share video and audio directly via FaceTime calls, is scheduled for later this fall.
