It should be presented during Apple’s back-to-school keynote.
Last year, Apple launched several new subscription services; Apple TV +, Apple Arcade, but also Apple News +. Three new formulas that have been added to others, including Apple Music or the paid version of iCloud. Currently, the Californian firm therefore offers no less than 5 subscription services which can represent a nice sum of money for a user subscribed to several of them. This is why the American company was working on an all-in-one or rather à la carte formula. A rumor that has been going around for some time already and to which Bloomberg provides some clarifications in a recent report.
According to the American media, Apple is preparing to present a subscription bundle, a bundled offer allowing access to several services, all at a preferential monthly price. An offer that the iPhone manufacturer is about to present at the start of the next school year. Bloomberg says that Apple will unveil its subscription bundle during its back-to-school keynote – which could be postponed to October. The American firm would have found him a very evocative name; the Apple One.
And although its name refers to the number one, the Apple One would come in several versions. Bloomberg is indeed advancing on the basis of sources familiar with the matter that Apple would offer a first bundle comprising Apple TV + and Apple Music, offering a benefit of $ 2 to subscribers. But a premium version of the Apple One would also be planned. This would bring together all the services of the firm at the apple and would save at least $ 5 to its subscribers.
The objective of these bundles is obviously to attract new customers. It must be said that the success of Apple’s new services is rather relative. Offering preferential formulas would allow the firm to convince new subscribers, but also to retain them in the more or less long term and therefore, to generate more income.
