Apple is preparing a fitness service

The service should be presented next October, during the back-to-school keynote.

The Californian firm has not finished offering new subscription services. According to Bloomberg, Apple is preparing to unveil Seymour, its own fitness service. This would be included in the Apple One offer, the subscription bundle that Apple should present at the start of the next school year, according to Bloomberg.

Seymour – code name – would offer virtual physical training courses and sessions via an app as Nike or Peloton already do. The app would be available on iPhone, iPad or Apple TV.

This is not the first time that we have heard of such a service. Last March, MacRumors had already detected references to a fitness program hidden in iOS 14. These were separate from the Activity app, which suggested that Apple was working on such a service.

The fact that Apple offers such an app wouldn’t be all that surprising. The Californian firm has already shown on several occasions that it is committed to the health of its users and offers several applications related to physical activities and health on different products. Moreover, the Apple Watch could be used in parallel with the fitness service to monitor the physical activity of its wearer and to offer a detailed analysis of its sessions.

Seymour would offer a wide choice of disciplines, whether it be indoor running, cycling, but also dance or even Yoga. It would also be question that the app offers exercises to stretch or develop certain muscles.

According to the American media, Apple’s fitness service should be presented alongside Apple One, Apple’s subscription bundle, next October during the keynote from the firm.
