Apple expects steady iPhone 14 sales, orders partners to manufacture 90 million units

Apple Expects Strong iPhones Next Year Despite Economic Slowdown, Says Report Bloomberg revealed. Cupertino has ordered its assemblers to stick to a 90 million target for the iPhone 14, which is the same as the iPhone 13.

The company is also expected to manufacture an expected 220 million devices through the end of 2022, the same number as last year.

According Bloomberg, Apple is confident that it will be able to overcome the economic difficulties faced by other manufacturers in a market that fell 9% in the second quarter and with a forecast decline of 3.5% for the year. Taiwanese iPhone assembler Pegatron, Japan Display, TDK Corp and Murata Manufacturing all saw their stock prices rise after the news broke.

The demise of Huawei’s high-end devices and the oversaturation of Android devices, in general, are driving stronger demand for Apple’s new lineup, analysts have revealed. Hon Hai Precision Industry, the company that assembles most iPhones, said “the sale of electronics is expected to be little changed in 2022.”

We expect a total of four Apple iPhone 14 versions to be announced next month. We’ll likely see new cameras, a hole-punch design for the upgraded selfie camera and Face ID and a new A16 Bionic chip is also in order.
