Apple Event in the Middle of a Pandemic Doesn’t Reveal the Latest iPhone: Okezone techno

APPLE Event titled “Time Flies” was held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, United States time. The event contains announcements of a number of excellent products. But uniquely, this time it did not release the iPhone.

Apple Event released its Apple Watch line up to the latest iPad. This event is carried out through virtual, not face to face, the impact of the corona virus pandemic (covid-19).

The following is the line of Apple products released in the Apple Event “Time Flies”, as quoted from The Verge, Thursday (17/9/2020).

– Apple Watch Series 6

Apple Watch Series 6 has a new health sensor that measures blood oxygen. Series 6 is powered by the new S6 Chip which Apple says is a dual-core processor based on the A13 Bionic in the iPhone 11.

– Solo Loop

Apple also announced a new type of bracelet called the Solo Loop. This is a silicone loop that can be stretched without clamps. It is available in different sizes and comes in seven different colors. There is also a braided Solo Loop which is available in five colors.

– Apple Watch SE

The Apple Watch SE is the lower variant of the Series 6. There are many features in common with the Series 6, including the accelerometer, gyroscope, always-on altimeter, and fall detection. Then supported by the S5 Chip used in last year’s Series 5 model.

– Family Setup

Apple announced a new Family Setup feature that allows users to manage multiple Apple Watch from a single iPhone. This feature requires the Watch to have an internet connection, and will only work from Series 4 devices or later. From one iPhone, users can manage which contacts can communicate with Apple Watch, as well as send location notifications automatically.

– New iPad Air

Apple launched the New iPad Air with an all-screen design, similar to the iPad Pro. It has a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2360 x 1640. Apple has moved the Touch ID button from the front of the device upwards on the Sleep / Wake button.

– Eighth Generation iPad

Apple announced the eighth generation iPad which has the same design as its predecessor. Large top and bottom bezels and a Touch ID button on the front. There is an update on the internal with the A12 Bionic Chip.

– Fitness+

Apple launched a new premium subscription service called Fitness +. Although integrated with iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, Apple says Fitness + is made for the Apple Watch. There are 10 types of fitness training, including yoga, cycling and dancing. Then there are new workouts added every week.

– Bundling Apple One

Apple announced a new “Apple One” subscription bundling that brings together many services. Plans include Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud storage.

– New Software

Apple is releasing a number of software updates starting Wednesday, September 16, 2020, including iOS 14, iPadOS 14, WatchOS 7, and tvOS 14. Apple says all newly released hardware products will have the latest software.
