Apple could present iPhone 12 on September 8, Apple Glass on October 27

No pandemic large enough to prevent Apple from rolling out its schedule. If Tim Cook and his family have had to readjust in recent months to unveil the iPhone SE, the new MacBook Air or the iPad Pro 2020, rely on a WWDC online developer conference and invent new modes of communication, they intend to keep some habits.

And this goes in particular for the presentation of the iPhone which traditionally takes place in the first days of September. According to the iHacktu Pro Twitter account, which has been right in the past, Apple has every intention of organizing an online event to present its iPhone 12 on Tuesday, September 8. With a most classic program: apart from its flagship smartphones expected by four, the Apple brand would unveil a new Apple Watch (Series 6), a new iPad (entry level) and give news of the AirPower multi-product charging pad. A project yet officially abandoned by Apple but whose photos have recently been leaked.

The date is quite predictable and corresponds to the habits of the house. The back-to-school keynote often takes place on the second Tuesday in September, excluding September 11 for obvious reasons, to leave around 10 days before the official release of the products and to stay in the month of September.

But the Apple leaker goes further. They also announce the holding of another event on October 27 to unveil the iPad Pro (however renewed in March), the first line of Mac devices with the new Apple Silicon chip and which, according to iHaktu Pro, would be the 13-inch MacBook and MacBook Pro. Once again, the date remains plausible, because Apple has often reserved for the end of October the presentation of its Macs and iPads. And Apple has never hidden that its new “home” MacBooks would be launched before the end of the year.

But iHaktu Pro especially announces the presentation of Apple Glass, the name given to augmented reality glasses, a product still in the rumor state, even if the patent applications on it are legion. In his message, the leaker, however, suggests that the Apple Glass would only be revealed during a physical event and not for an online keynote. It has often been whispered that Apple would like to unveil its new flagship product with great fanfare in front of the press and not in the relative anonymity of an event on the internet. Next spring has often been put forward as the date for this. The month of October remains uncertain for a public presentation, as many events scheduled for that date have already been canceled.
