Apple could present iPhone 12 at event in October

The firm could hold two separate events at the start of the school year; one in September, the other in October.

Last month, Apple has confirmed to its investors that its new smartphones will be several weeks late. No iPhone will be marketed during the month of September, contrary to the habits of the firm. This delay in marketing could push Apple to opt for a deferred presentation. It is in any case the new rumor which runs, carried by the leaker Jon Prosser.

The latter says in fact that Apple will drop its flagship event in September for the benefit of a simple announcement on its website. According to Jon Prosser, the Cupertino company will unveil its new Apple Watch and its new iPad directly online, on September 7.

We will have to wait until October to officially discover the new headed smartphones. Apple would prepare a real event (online?) For the presentation of its flagship products, on October 12 more precisely.

Some of the iPhone 12s would be available for pre-order as soon as they are presented, with marketing scheduled for October 19. The leaker also claims that some models could land later, in November. It is indeed question that the four iPhone 12 models are marketed in several stages.

This choice of organization seems quite probable. If it is surprising to see Apple changing its habits, the particular context amply justifies it. We should be fixed at the end of the month. Apple often announces the date of its keynote in late August or even early September. Patience, therefore.
