President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has issued a threat reshuffle in front of his ministers some time ago. Jokowi is considered serious in this matter.
Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko emphasized what was said Jokowi before, it was no joke. According to him, all ministers and heads of institutions must respond to the threat.
“The chief ministers of the institute must respond to the pressures delivered by the president. The president views the need for a shared spirit to overcome COVID-19. The president is worried that some of his assistants feel the current situation is normal. (6/29/2020).
Moeldoko continued, Jokowi considered that there were still ministers or leaders of institutions that worked and considered the situation normal. Therefore, Jokowi’s emphasis this time is much harder than before.
According to him, Jokowi have seen that there are still a number of sectors in managing a pandemic. One of the benchmarks is low budget absorption, such as the health sector.
“Although health issues have been touched upon. Large funds have only been absorbed by 1.53%. Indeed, after we have explored there are issues that need to be communicated even faster, including how to build synergy between BPJS, regional governments and the Minister of Health,” he said.
In addition to low budget absorption, the health sector is also being monitored due to incentives for medical personnel who experience problems in terms of data collection. Then the health sector also has convoluted regulatory issues.
“The regulation can be used when it is normal but when it is not normal as now it must be taken corrective steps and the minister has already taken that step.
