On October 1, Estonia’s largest cinema network Apollo Kino will open a new cinema Apollo Kino Plaza in the fashion and entertainment center Riga Plaza.
“We are pleased that despite the difficult times in the entertainment industry, we can open our second Apollo Kino cinema in Latvia,” says Kadri Ärm, Baltic Executive Director of Apollo Kino.
This is already the 14th cinema in the Baltics and is part of the large Apollo Group entertainment division, which also includes other group companies: Vapiano, KFC, O`Learys, IceCafe and MySushi.
Apollo Kino Plaza offers 8 cinemas with 962 seats.
In addition, Apollo Kino Plaza will offer a new concept for those who like comfort and a luxurious environment – opening the Vintage cinema, equipped with new design seats.
“Riga Plaza” is a fashion and entertainment center, therefore we are working on the development of these two directions, constantly attracting new tenants. We appreciate the cooperation with “Apollo Group”, because it allows us to currently offer the only cinema in Riga on the left bank of the Daugava, “says Irīna Toropova, the manager of” Rīga Plaza “.
Apollo Kino cinemas are located all over Estonia – in Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu, Saaremaa, Narva and Jõhvi, in 39 cinemas, hosting almost 5,800 cinema-goers. In 2019, Apollo Kino also opened its first cinemas in Latvia and Lithuania.
Db.lv has already announced that in mid-October Apollo Kino, as well as the trampoline park “Apollo Skypark” will be opened in the shopping center Domina.
