The apartment is 900 square feet and is located in the heart of Manhattan. Who pocketed the large sum for the apartment is not known.
The seller was the American billionaire Daniel Och, who bought the apartment just two years ago. Then the price was 93 million dollars, or 800 million Norwegian kroner at today’s exchange rate.
The sales price in this round was 190 million dollars, which is equivalent to approximately 1.65 billion kroner.
According to Bloomberg is Daniel Och worth $ 4.7 billion. The fortune stems mainly from having founded Och Ziff Capital Management.
